The definitive view of Austria's water dispense market — bottled water dispense, point of use and integrated tap systems, with operator rankings, channel splits, pricing benchmarks and a five-year outlook to 2030.

Austria Water Dispenser Market Overview

Austria is one of the smaller water dispense markets in Western Europe but among the faster growing, with a double-digit run in mains-fed supply. Zenith puts the installed base at more than 40,000 units at the end of 2025, covering bottled water dispensers (BWD), point-of-use (POU) coolers and integrated tap systems (ITS).

POU grew by more than 10% in 2025 and integrated tap systems by more than 7%, while the bottled dispenser base fell by around 2% and bulk water volume by around 2%. The Austrian water cooler market as a whole grew by around 3%.

Competition is concentrated with a specialist filtration presence. Culligan operates the Aqua Alpina, Freshwater Austria, Ursteiner, Triple A Aqua Service and Waterlogic Austria estates. Irs Wasser and Aqua Vita VMC are active in bottled dispense, with BWT Group, Selecta and DAC Project Handels in POU and Grohe in integrated taps.

The Zenith Austria Water Dispense Report sizes every segment by units, volume and revenue from 2020 to 2030, with company-level shares, channel and vertical splits, and rental and bottle pricing.
