Denmark Water Dispenser Market Overview
Denmark has completed the transition away from bottled coolers further than almost any market in Europe, with integrated tap systems accounting for well over a third of the installed base. Zenith puts the installed base at more than 60,000 units at the end of 2025, covering bottled water dispensers (BWD), point-of-use (POU) coolers and integrated tap systems (ITS).
POU grew by more than 5% in 2025 and integrated tap systems by around 3%, while the bottled dispenser base eased by around 1% and bulk water volume was flat. The Danish water cooler market as a whole grew by around 4%.
Competition is concentrated in supply and diverse in taps. Culligan Denmark operates the Eden Springs Denmark and Waterlogic Denmark estates. Dansk Kildevand, Frisk Vand, Selecta Denmark and Torstein are active across bottled and mains-fed formats, with Grohe, Zegotech, Selecta Denmark and BRITA supplying integrated taps.
