Spain Water Dispense Market Report 2026

BWD, POU and ITS operators, channels, pricing and 2020-2030 outlook

The definitive view of Spain's water dispense market — bottled water dispense, point of use and integrated tap systems, with operator rankings, channel splits, pricing benchmarks and a five-year outlook to 2030.

Spain Water Dispenser Market Overview

Spain is the largest water dispense market in Western Europe and the first in the region to pass one million installed units. Zenith puts the installed base at more than one million units at the end of 2025, covering bottled water dispensers (BWD), point-of-use (POU) coolers and integrated tap systems (ITS). Spain is also unusual in Europe for the weight of its residential base, where bottled coolers are supplied to households on subscription rather than only to workplaces.

Every segment grew in 2025. The bottled dispenser base rose by around 11% and bulk water volume by around 11% alongside it, POU grew by more than 6% and ITS by more than 15%. The Spanish water cooler market as a whole expanded by more than 10%, its thirteenth consecutive year of growth.

Competition splits between a residential-led model and the workplace operators. Aquaservice operates the household subscription model that accounts for much of the national base. Culligan Spain operates through Acquajet, Blue Planet Aquadirect, Eden Springs España and Aguaviva. AquaBlue, Iparvending Group, El Botijo, Elis Barcelona and Fuente Azul (Mahou-San Miguel) are active in bottled dispense, with Canaletas, VDF, Compañía Europea del Agua and BRITA España in POU, and Aqua KM Zero, Puigmon, Puralia and Dinae Agua in integrated taps.

The Zenith Spain Water Dispense Report sizes every segment by units, volume and revenue from 2020 to 2030, with company-level shares, channel and vertical splits, and rental and bottle pricing.
